Obituary's Biography:

Pamela Marie Kut-Rankin, born February 5th, 1960, in Chicago, to Diane and Deacon Bernard Kut, passed away in her home on Tuesday, June 27th.  Pam enjoyed 16 wonderful years of marriage to Thomas Rankin.  Pam had a huge heart and was a very generous and open person.  She was definitely a foodie, loving cooking, eating, and hosting parties for family and friends – always engaging her guests to make them feel welcome and loved.  She loved travelling, enjoying sights and food from all over the country and abroad.  An avid sci-fi fan, her favorites were Star Trek and Star Wars.   Additional hobbies and interests included: scrapbooking, crafts (including her craft business “From the Heart” that she ran with her sister Reneé and father Bernie), NASCAR, attending sporting and other events for her nephews, children, grand-children, and great grand-children.  Pam, a quintessential Bears fan, was always ready to support and defend her team.

Residing in Illinois, Pam frequently visited Crystal Falls, Michigan, to see her parents, enjoying the beauty and serenity of the Upper Penninsula.

Pam is survived by her husband Tom Rankin, mother Diane Kut, sister Reneé Dettman, brother in law Ross Dettman, nephews Matt (and Kenzie) and Eric Dettman, children Mitchell and Connor Chanter, stepchildren JR (and Misty) Rankin, Jessica (Zach) Thicksten, grandchildren: Evan, William, Laura, Braydyn, Jordyn (Cole), Kileigh (Alex), Megan, Sarah, Nicole, Great grandchildren: Bently, Jaylin, Beaux, Aurora, Macie, James, John, Damian.
