Obituary's Biography:
Virginia Mae Burch, 70, a resident of Grayslake, IL passed away February 13, 2022 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. She was born April 7, 1951 in Nebraska to Thomas and Hazel McGowan. Virginia was a member of the Living Waters Church in Grayslake, where she enjoyed volunteering for anything the church needed. She loved to play cards with her friends and was known as a very giving person. Virginia is survived by her son Casey (Nicole) Burch, her grandchildren Conner Lee Burch and Summer Lynn Burch, and her siblings Yvonne Lamb and Tom (Cathy) McGowan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Don Burch. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 18, 2022 from 10:00am until the time of the memorial service at 11:00am at Living Waters Church, 525 Atkinson Road in Grayslake. A luncheon will follow the service at 12:00pm at the church. All arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030. Ginny Burch was my Rock she held her values close to her vest She is and was my mother as she married my father she took me in when I was a youth not a easy task for either of us I will tell you as years past we grew together with much respect yes because of her I still to this day eat my top rohman with a spoon and a fork I didn’t have to call on her much but the value was I always knew I could I miss that knowing She was a god sent angle and she never worried she knew heaven was waiting on her with much love she will always have a place in my heart she helped me become whom I am today God bless You Ginny and thank you for your love.
