Obituary's Biography:
Steven James Mumford, 56, a resident of Ingleside, IL passed away May 31, 2021. He was born February 9, 1965 to Robert and Elizabeth (nee Oshinski) Mumford. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Mumford Sr.; brother, Robert Mumford Jr.; sister, Susan Mumford; and nephews, Brian Berry and Chayse Mumford. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Mumford; sisters, Kathlyn (Paul Berry) Mumford, Laura Calhoun, and Linda Mumford; brothers, Kenneth (Jami) Mumford, and Edward Mumford; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 4, 2021 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with the funeral service commencing at 10:00am on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. Interment will be privately held. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the American Heart Association at https://www.heart.org/. We are saddened at the loss of Steve. Always a nice guy, always friendly. 56 is far too young. May he rest in peace.
