Obituary's Biography:
Judith “Judi” A. Mavilla, 77, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away February 16, 2023, surrounded by family. She was born March 16,1945 in Pittsburgh, PA to Donald and Lillian Hurley.
Her favorite pastimes were reading, playing cards, crossword puzzles and cardio drumming. She was a great friend and a passionate supporter of her family.
Judi is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Mavilla, her children Lisa (Ron) Shibovich and Ryan Mavilla, her grandchildren Kaitlin Shibovich, Ava Shibovich, Madison Mavilla and Joe Mavilla, and her siblings Dan (Rosario) Hurley and Michael Hurley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Don and her sister Merrily.
A memorial visitation and service are scheduled for March 17, 2023 from 9:30am until 10:30am with the memorial service commencing at 10:30am at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
