Obituary's Biography:

Anthony “Tony” Frank Kirch, 82, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away December 18, 2022 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.  He was born October 11, 1940 in Oak Park, IL to Anton and Emily Kirch.

Tony was a member of Farragut HS, American Sokol Organization, ETHS, Dancers, Gardeners of Central Lake County, and Carillon North.

Tony is survived by his wife, Janet Kirch, whom he wed on August 24, 1963 in Chicago, IL, his children Debra Kirch McIver and Eric Kirch, his grandchildren Riley Grace Kirch, Roscoe Anthony Kirch, and Ruby Mae Kirch, his nephew Scott Jirousek, and his niece Jenny Jirousek.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Blanche.

A memorial visitation and service are scheduled for Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 10:30am until 2:30pm with the memorial service at 2:30pm at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E.   1. Tony was a guy with a really big heart. His list of charities sounds just like Tony. “An animal shelter of your choice” rings so true.
    He put the garden club on its feet with incredible work on the plant sale and worked hard to get lots of people involved We will miss him and his friendly open smile.
