Obituary's Biography:

Angelita Palacio Berreles, 82, a resident of Round Lake Beach, IL, passed away March 20, 2020 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.  She was born July 11, 1937 in Pearsall, TX to Trinidad and Eusbio Palacio. Angie was a homemaker and gardener but will be mostly remembered as a well known seamstress in the Round Lake Beach area. She spent most of her life making Wedding/Prom/Quinceañera dresses and quilting became her passion later in life. She was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church in Round Lake.  She is survived by her children Pedro Berreles (Angie ) Kennedale, TX, Matilda Meroni (Dave) Elkhorn, WI, Robert Berreles (Carol) Lake Villa, IL, Ramiro Berreles (Susan) Trevor, WI, Diana Berreles-Mordawski Antioch, IL, David Berreles Round Lake Beach, IL, Rosalinda P. Berreles Antioch, IL, Jacqueline Garcia (Tony) West Allis, WI, her grandchildren Dave (Heather) Meroni Cary, IL, Brian (Kara) Meroni  Albuquerque, NM, Pedro Berreles  Kennedale, TX, Samantha Mordawski Antioch, IL, Daniel Berreles Kennedale, TX, Christopher Hutchinson Antioch, IL, Cody Berreles Trevor, WI, Nick (Julie) Berreles McHenry, IL, Desiree Berreles (Scott Maggart) Kissimmee, FL, Jessica Hutchinson Antioch, IL, Tiffany (Kyle) Gibson Hinesville, GA, Travis Berreles Kennedale, TX, Jacob Berreles Trevor, WI, Alexis Mordawski Antioch, IL, Heather Berreles Lake Villa, IL, and 8 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Pedro G. Berreles.  A private burial service was held at Avon Centre Cemetery on March 26, 2020.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundations of America at https://alzfdn.org/support-us/donate/.  All funeral arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030.

    I am sad to see this, I have many fond memories of Angie, She made prom dresses and wedding dresses for my family, she was the sweetest lady, our lost and heaven’s gain, may your memory be eternal, all my love and prayers to you and Pedro and the Berreles Family
