Obituary's Biography:

Roger R. Holland, 73, a resident of Grayslake, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at Advocate Condell in Libertyville, IL.  He was born November 14, 1942 in Marshfield, Wi to Earl and Agnes Holland.  Roger was a veteran having served with the US Army.  Roger is survived by his wife of 22 years, Patricia, his children Monica (Joe) Rodriguez, Lisa Holland, Jay (Misty) Holland, Andy Holland, Melissa (Sean) McAuly, his grandchildren Joey, Ida, Tiara, Michael, Ellen, Jacob, Jenna, Emilio, Eliana, Cianna, Juliette, Victoria, Eric, Joshua, and Rebecca, his 2 great-grandchildren, and his siblings Dave (Kay) Holland, Jim (Dottie) Holland, Paul (Kay) Holland, and Arlene (Mike) Johnsrud.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Richard Holland, and his baby sister Mary Beth Holland.  Friends of the family may visit on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service commencing at followed by a 11:00 a.m. at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030,.  Interment will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 11:30am at Abraham National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family of Roger R. Although I never met Roger in person, I know from what I have heard that he was a wonderful man and I know he will be greatly missed.
