Obituary's Biography:

Stephen J. Kenesie, age 91, a resident of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Bristol, WI, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in Clearwater, FL.  He was born October 16, 1929 in Herminie, PA, to John and Theresa (Ostovitz) Kenesie.  He was a union president of Commonwealth Edison, IBEW and member of the Moose Lodge.  His family always came first after golf and bowling.  He was a jokester and story teller of his childhood years in Europe.  He was strict, but an “old softie.” Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Dorothy (Laposky); children, Steve Jr. (Linda) of Bristol, WI, Kathi Deluca of Beverly Hills, CA, David (Jeri) of New Lisbon, WI, and Theresa (Pete) Bruno of Largo, FL; grandfather of eight; and great-grandfather of 24. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters. A visitation and service is scheduled for Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 3:00pm until 6:30pm with the funeral service commencing at 6:30pm with Father James Merold officiating at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.   2. Always loved when he came over to my folks and with just a couple of words fired up my Mom his sister. It was great and I will never forget that he was a real softie. Will miss him!!!.

    We are so sorry to learn of Steve’s passing. We have so many fond memories of you both! Lots of good golf at Foss Park, Italian American Club golf outings and of course dancing to “Put your head on my shoulder”!!! Steve was a great friend to dad and mom (Tony & Bernice Glogovsky). We will never forget him! Our sincere condolences…he was one of the good ones!
