Obituary's Biography:
Robert W. Wickersheim, 74, a resident of Round Lake Beach, IL, passed away February 7, 2023 at Captain James A. Lovell Federal health Care Center in North Chicago, IL. He was born April 28, 1948 in Waukegan, IL to Roy and Delores Wickersheim.
Bob was a graduate of Grayslake High School, and he was a member of United Protestant Church of Grayslake. He was a veteran and served in the Army and was a resident of Grayslake and Round Lake his lifetime.
Bob is survived by his siblings Roy (Louise) Wickersheim Jr., Pamela Wickersheim, Roger (Diane) Wickersheim, Diane (Calvin) Ellison, Karen (Kevin) Small, Shirley (Michael) Fier, Donald Wickersheim, and Joseph Wickersheim.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Joseph Wickersheim.
A memorial visitation and service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm with military honors at 3:00 pm. Im was saddened to hear about your brother. I hadnt seen him in years but he was always nice to me and everyone else that new him. May he rest in peace and may God grant all of you the strength to get through this difficult time.
So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing, condolences to his family.
From high school, I always remembered Bob having a warm persona and an enthusiastic smiling face. Sorry.
