Born to Amelio and Cecilia Fragassi in Highland Park Il.  Bob attended Holy Cross Grade School in Deerfield and graduated from Deerfield High School where he received the nickname Harpo.  He then went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and psychology at Southern Illinois.

In 1970 while attending SIU, Bob met the love of his life Marguerite in Carbondale and married on July 17th 1976 at Holy Cross Church in Deerfield IL.  They went on to have two daughters Nicole Fragassi and Reena Heinen (Jason Heinen).

Bob took over the family business, Fragassi TV and Appliance in the 70s and helped the business flourish until his retirement in December of 2010.

Some of his favorite activities and hobbies were hosting Sunday dinners and pool parties with family and friends, fishing, boating on Gages Lake and the Fox River, and watching westerns with Muffin on his lap.  The things he truly enjoyed most were being a husband to Marguerite, father to Nicole, Reena (Jason), Grandfather to Zoe and Peter, and Kramer the grandpup, and brother to Rosann, Richard, Rita, Robin, and Marylynn.  Uncle Bob was truly an honored title.  Bob always believed the more the marrier and family and friends were always welcome with open arms and never left without a tan or a great meal.
