Obituary's Biography:

Neil Stephen Margeson passed away on June 1, 2022 after a short illness.  Neil was born on December 4, 1978 in Gurnee, IL.  He held a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College.

He was husband to Amy Margeson (nee Dietz) and proud father to Ava and Parker Margeson.  He was a beloved son to Kevin and Jaye Margeson and brother to his sister Jenna (Dan) Madia.

His endless love for his family came through in everything he did for them.  He was an avid fan of all sports, especially watching his kids’ sports; however, none more than his love for the Green Bay Packers.  Between going to Packer games with his family and doing podcasts about the team, he was the ultimate fan.  He loved to travel, especially to the ocean, and was always up for new experiences.  Neil lived life to the fullest and was always there for his family and friends.  He was a part of many local and extended communities and always willing to donate his time.

In addition to Amy, Parker and Ava, Neil is survived by his sister Jenna (Dan) Madia, sisters-in-law Christina (Brian) Zalewski, Megan (Ray) Moresi, Melissa (Steve) Alberts and nieces and nephews (Vincent, Bella, Connor, Ray, Stephen, Wyatt, and Ryan) and in-laws, Robert and Adrienne Dietz.

The visitation will be at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL, on June 6, 2022, 3-7pm.  The family will be there to welcome friends and relatives.  Donations for the family and medical expenses can be sent to https://everloved.com/life-of/neil-margeson/.
