  1. Marty Wentzel, became my husband best friend, both of them enjoyed campaigning knocking on doors trying to get informations out to voters. Both had a great passion for wanting to lift others up and see what they could do for their fellow man. When my husband was ill durning Covid and had many hospital stays it was always Marty who was checking on him and first one to visit him when we brought Hank home and Hospice was with us for 10 days. Those were dark times for my family but anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Marty knew how upbeat and positive Marty was there for his friend and for my girls and myself. I have been blessed too my Marty’s huge heart. Marty love for his boy’s Michael,Sean and grandson Sean and beautiful Brianna was so obvious. His eyes lite up whenever he could tell you about them or spending time with his family. And the same was for his childhood family he love his 5 brothers unconditionally and would share great stories about his childhood. And the same pride he had for his brothers was shown to his sisters and his mother who had passed but love telling us about the wonderful mother he had. Marty had so many nieces and nephews whom he was extremely proud of also. Those of us who heard his great stories and his humor and zest for life was always heart warming and he will be missed by many. Love Susan and Smit family
