Obituary's Biography:

Lynn Louise Kuranz, 74, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away February 5, 2022 at her home.  She was born July 19, 1947 in Madison, WI to Roland and Jeanette Neumaier.  Lynn loved fiercely, not only her family, but her many friends.  Her absolute favorite role in this world was being a Nana to her 7 grandchildren.  Lynn was a caregiver at heart.  She spent over 50 years being a nurse, a job that gave her great pride and joy.  Everything she did, even the really hard things, she did with a positive attitude and a smile on her face.  She touched many lives and will leave a long-lasting legacy. 

Lynn is survived by her children Elizabeth (Dennis) Zybczynski of Auburn, AL, Mary (Chris) Bassett of Grayslake, IL, and Carolyn (Jonathan Parker) Kuranz of Ann Arbor, MI, her grandchildren Lyndsey Bassett and Lily Bassett of Grayslake, IL, Nina Parker and Elliot Park of Ann Arbor, MI, and Ava Zybczynski, Aria Zybczynski, and Alena Zybczynski of Auburn, AL, her siblings Jim (Kate) Neumaier of Elizabeth, CO, Tom (Debbie) Neumaier of Greeley, CO, Tim (Kathy) Neumaier, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her loving parents Roland and Jeanette Neumaier.

A memorial visitation and service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm with the memorial service at 3:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E.   3. A great friend and co- worker. Lynn was the most compassionate caring nurse ever. Everyone she cared for, loved her so much. I will miss her great sense of humor and her friendship. God Bless and Rest in Peace.

  5. I loved Lynn! She was a phenomenal person and nurse. I was blessed with her friendship and grateful for it. It was fun working with her.
    I hope there are plenty of hot dogs in heaven! I so glad we had that last day together! I miss you dear friend.

  6. Lynn was a kind and compassionate nurse and coworker. She always wore a smile and her patience shined through to all of the clients in her care. Her special baked treats and pot luck items brought joy to all that she worked with.

  7. So sorry for your loss of such a beautiful woman both inside and out! I had the priveledge to know her through a game we played, for years, she knew I loved toblerone chocolate , and send me some all the way to canada! Her kindness was so genuine! A priveledge to know this special lady
