Obituary's Biography:

John Edward Hayes, 63, of Round Lake, Illinois passed away suddenly in Crystal Falls, Michigan. He was doing what he loved, fishing and enjoying life. John was born August 18, 1956 in Evanston, Illinois. He attended Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook, Illinois and graduated in 1975. He began to work for United Parcel Service and retired after 41 years of dedicated commitment. John’s smile was contagious. When he smiled, everyone around him smiled. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. He enjoyed fishing, attending Bears games and spending time with family and friends.

John was the loving husband of Lisa Suerth; He is survived by his parents, Fay and Edward Vogt, late Paul E. Hayes; his son Michael John (Stacey) Hayes and daughter Lindsey Hayes; sister Linda (Mike) Rejman, sister Laura (Hayes) Ott, his brother Jeffery D. (Cassandra) Hayes;  proud grandfather of Brayden and Shae; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. 

Services will be private, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date due to the current circumstances.   1. My deepest condolences to all of you. He was an amazing friend, always thinking of others. He always made sure his friends were taken care of, whenever we went out. His love for the Chicago Bears, was never ending. He will be missed truly.

  4. John was one of my favorite childhood friends. We were great buddies at Maple. Always kind and yes, always the best and brightest smiles He was soft spoken and thoughtful.
