  1. We are very sorry to hear about John’s passing. We enjoyed getting to know John these past few years through the Blue Moon Gallery in Grayslake and via his wonderful, vibrant, colorful art work. We know our patrons enjoyed his compositions with bright, bold colors as well as his friendly demeanor very much. We will miss how happy he was whenever we talked about art and we send our deepest condolences to his family at this sad time. — From all of us at the Blue Moon: Kendra Kett, Bob Nonnemacher, Shelley Dykstra, Keaton Nonnemacher

  2. John was larger than life in many ways while I was growing up with the Callahan’s as extended family! Our weekly sports and life chats will be sorely missed.
