  1. My condolences to Ellen’s family – the Kerrigans and the Hasdals. I was a friend of Ellen’s since our high school days in Wauconda, and after our graduation in 1961 we continued to share good times together. I was a bridesmaid at Ellen and Larry’s wedding. I moved to Calif. in 1975 so we did not see each other very often – only when I visited Wauconda for class reunions and family visits. But we remained friends all those years. I felt so bad when I heard she had to go live at The Auberge. It will be comfort to know that she is reunited with Larry in their Heavenly home.

  2. Dear Family of Ellen,
I felt the deepest of sympathy when I heard of Ellen’s death. She was a friend at my church and family and was a god send tirelessly babysitting my children. I will remember the warmness of her smile and will forever be grateful to her and Larry and the children, Kevin, Kelli, and Kerri. Much love, Bonnie Lee Aldrich, now living in Michigan. My children she cared for PauletteCarter-Merson Michelle Fetter, and Darren Carter send their love and condolences.

  3. My deepest condolences to Ellen’s children and family. I knew Ellen for a long time, maybe the past 50 years at St. Andrew’s. She also babysat my nieces, nephew and daughter many, many years ago in Grayslake. I remember her energetic spirit and faithful presence at St. Andrews all those years. She will be missed and thought of often with happy memories. .
