Obituary's Biography:

Beverly J. Harter, 73, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away February 3, 2021 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Round Lake Beach, IL.  She was born April 10, 1947 in Chicago, IL.  Beverly was a member of Indian Hill Bible Church in Ingleside, IL.  She enjoyed crocheting.  Beverly is survived by her children Ruben Boling, Richard “Ricky” Fordham and Charles “Charlie” Fordham Jr., many grandkids, her brothers James Motter and Herb Stokes, her sisters Rexanna (Joe) Franklin and Edna (Joe) Lindsay, her dearest friend Jerome Martin, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.  She was preceded in death by her mother Ethel J. Motter, her step-father Rex D. Shake, her brother Clyde M. Stokes, and her son Larry Boling Jr.  A visitation and funeral service is scheduled for Friday, February 12, 2021 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with the funeral service commencing at 8:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL.  The inurnment will take place on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 9:00am at Avon Centre Cemetery in Grayslake, IL.  Memorials may be made to the Indian Hill Bible Church in Ingleside, IL.  For information, call 847-223-8122 or visit www.strangfuneral.org

  1. I miss you so much Bev, I know your with great company. I know you had a great welcome home party, now that you’re with Momma, Clyde, Grandma Peggy and your baby boy

    1. I have no words that can express the pain I feel knowing that you are gone, that’ll I’ll never see you again and I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye or I love you just one more time. I wish we could have seen each other during my pregnancy with the twins.. More so, I wish you could have met them… You would’ve been in love.. Thank you for being the person you were and for giving me (and so many others) love like none other. I know you’re much happier now, not tired, hurting and very much relieved & I take comfort in the fact that you’ll be with Grandma again… I love you so much Aunt Bevvie.. Rest peacefully. ❤️

  3. My condolences go out to the family 💔Beverly was the sister I never had and she will forever be in my heart. I know now that she is no longer in pain was welcomed with open arms by Mom Ethel, Brother Clyde and other dearly departed family. I will deeply miss her😔and love her forever.
