Obituary's Biography:

Alejandro (Alex) Jaime, age 53, a resident of Round Lake Beach, IL passed away on December 23, 2023. He was born on July 27, 1970, in Waukegan, IL to Vickie and Rene Jaime.

Alex was an avid sports fan, especially fond of the Cubs, fisherman, and always on the hunt for the best Bloody Mary during his travels. He enjoyed experimenting with new food creations and cooking for loved ones. He was known for his unique phrases, being a prankster, and could always be counted on for a laugh. Alex was a kind and loving person.  He was a long-time employee of John Crane.

Alex is survived by his long-time partner, Lisa Velez; daughter, Tina Marie (Paul) Clayborn; his mother, Vickie Jaime; siblings Kim Jaime, Celia Jaime, Juan Jose Jaime, Leticia Jaime and Marcos Jaime; and his beloved nieces, nephews and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.  Alex was very loved and will be deeply missed.

Services will be private on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Strang’s in Grayslake; internment will be held privately at a future date.  Memorials may be made to Save-A-Pet, P.O. Box 261, Grayslake, IL 60030 (www.saveapetil.org)

  1. My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Alex. He was so very funny and kind. He always made me laugh and had a very big heart. He will be greatly missed.

  3. Alex was a long time friend of mine and my brothers. We had many adventures during highschool and after. He will be missed by many but we shall see him again someday. My condolences to all his family and friends. Rest in peace my brother.

  5. I’ve know Alex since middle school. He was a funny guy, always made people laugh and always had a smile. Even though we lost touch he will be forever missed. My condolences to his family.

  6. My most sincere condolences. I worked with Alex for a few years. Many times, the highlight of my day was Alex clowning around and I considered him a real friend. I know I miss him. I can’t imagine the loss to his family.
