Obituary's Biography:

Denise M. Schell (nee: Schoenberger), 58, a resident of Round Lake, passed away Monday July 14, 2014. She was born August 1, 1955 in Nashville, TN to Frank and Mildred Schell. Denise was a talented quilter, crafter, an amazing cook, and an extremely hard worker. Denise was the beloved mother to Ken (Sabrina) Schoenberger, Kevin (Elizabeth) Schoenberger, and Kris (Moriah) Schoenberger, adoring grandma to Hunter, and loving sister to Gregg (Sue) Schell, Maurice (Nancy) Schell, and Michael (Kathy) Schell, and wonderful aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Stephen and Frank. A visitation is scheduled for Friday July 18, 2014 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. A funeral service will be held on Saturday July 19, 2014 at 10:00am at the funeral chapel.   2. Ken, Kevin, and Kris, I am sorry for your loss. I have lots of good memories of times with your mom, she was amazing. She was so proud of all of you. Keep your memories of her close to your heart and remember she will be watching over you.

  5. We are completely at a loss for words over the sudden passing of your Mother. I know there is nothing that we can say that will make your loss easier. I hope you can understand what is so difficult to put into words. We are so sorry, but that seems very inadequate. You are all in our thoughts at this very sad time.

      I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. Although I didn’t know her personally, I do know the two of you, and that’s a pretty good reflection. She sure did a great job of raising you guys. Based on how hard working, respectful, and kind the two of you are, I can only imagine that she was just as wonderful. I’m sorry I was unable to attend her wake or funeral, as I was out of state. However, I was keeping you close in thought and prayer, and will continue to do so in the days ahead.
