Eileen A. Douglas

Eileen Alice Douglas, age 62, of  Ingleside, lifelong Lake County resident, passed away Tues. July 30, 2013 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.  She was born in Waukegan on July 18, 1951 to the now late Cecil and Alice {nee Svoboda} Raw.  Eileen was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, enjoyed cooking, watching Judge Judy, and loved her kitties.  She is survived by Randy Douglas, her husband of 35 years, whom she wed on Dec. 1, 1977 in Reno, NV; her brother Bob (Vickie) Raw, her Aunt Carol and Uncle Jim McCullough, her uncle Frank Svoboda ; her nephew Matthew Raw; as well as other extended family.  Friends of the family may visit at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E. Ronald J. Perlow

Ronald J. Perlow, a resident of Round Lake, passed away Friday July 26, 2013 at the age of 80. He was born October 9, 1932 in Chicago to Valintine and Lillian (nee: Smigielski) Perlow. Ronald is survived by his children Ronald of Round Lake and Bradley (Alice) of McHenry, his grandchildren Bradley (fiancée Livia) of Lakemoor, Robert, Nicholas, Allysen, and Hailey all of McHenry, and his great-grandchild Elliana. Dorothy E. Hansen

Dorothy E. Hansen (nee: Thompsen) passed away on July 24, 2013, after a brief illness, she was 90. She was born in Grayslake, IL on November 6, 1922, to Peter H. and Anna M. Thompsen. She married John “Jack” E. Hansen on June 27, 1942, at St. Andrew’s Church in Grayslake and they were married for 54 years until his death in 1996. In 1989, she retired as Office Manager for the American Red Cross at Great Lakes Naval Station after 37 years of service. She is survived by her daughter, Jacquelyn D. Hansen of Grayslake, her sister Betty M. (the late Col. William J.) Ankley of Springfield, VA and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her sister Alma M. (the late Edwin O.) Hanert, her niece Joanne (nee: Hanert) Fitzpatrick and great-nephew Jeppy Hanert. Karen Beth Wessely, age 51, of Grayslake, passed away at her home July 23, 2013. Dale Elwood Worden

Dale E. Worden, a resident of Antioch, passed away Saturday July 20, 2013 at the age of 81.  He was born November 27, 1932 in Racine, WI to Claude and Ruth (nee: Corder) Worden.  Dale was a Marine Corp veteran having served during the Korean War.  After the war Dale became interested in cooking and had retired after having worked as a chef for over 50 years.  He was also a local businessman owning several restaurants: Dale & Val’s Ahoy Mates Bar and Restaurant, the Sequoit Harbor Restaurant, and a campground with a restaurant, all on the Chain of Lakes in the Antioch area, and continued later as the chef at Neutrauter’s Restaurant.  Dale is survived by his brother Marion (Bud), daughters Debbie (Tom) Margetich of Chicago Heights, Darla Martin of Seattle, WA, and Denise (Ken) Flora of Peoria, IL, his sons Butch (Cheryl) Worden of Canton, MO, David Worden of Pekin, IL and. Robert J. Stallcup

Robert “Jim” Stallcup, a resident of Gages Lake, passed away Wednesday July 17, 2013 at his home, at the age of 70. He was born September 22, 1942 in Indianapolis, IN to Florence and Chandler Stallcup. Jim was a former employee of Bell Fuels in Chicago. Jim is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol, his children Cheryl (J.R. Depew) Fisher, Lynda (Brian Berg) Lee, and Kevin Stallcup, his grandchildren Amber Hooven, Alicia Cashmore, Cody Lee, and Justin Lee, and his great-grandson Liam. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Gena, and his brothers Wayne and Chuck. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday July 20, 2013 at 6:00 pm at Gages Lake Bible Church 18788 W. Dr. Dulce Milanes

The good Dr. Dulce Milanes, an 88-year-old Lake Forest resident, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 16, 2013 at Lake Forest Hospital.  Dr. Milanes was born in Havana, Cuba on June 19, 1925 to the now late Eladio and Amalia {nee Garcia} Milanes.  Dr. Milanes was an OB/GYN, maintaining a well known office on Center Street in Grayslake, delivering nearly 17,000 babies since 1954 at area hospitals such as Condell, St. Therese (now Vista East), and Victory (now Vista West).  She actually holds the United States record, surpassing 15,800 deliveries in 2002.  Dr. Milanes loved her chosen profession and the decades of patients, deriving true joy out of helping people for so many years.  She was the loving mother of Sergio Fuentes, Dulce (Robert) Brandt, and Matthew (Catherine) Fuentes; the adoring grandmother of Michael Brandt, Dulce Fuentes, and Jennifer Fuentes; the dear sister of Eladia A. (the late Rudolfo) Suris; the fond aunt and cousin of many; and kind-hearted physician to countless .  Friends of the family may visit at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E. Byron K. Pscherer

Byron K. Pscherer, a lifelong resident of Round Lake, passed away Saturday July 13, 2013, at the age of 54. He was born June 29, 1959 in Chicago, IL to Alfred and Forrestene Pscherer. Byron worked as a painter with the Chicago Painters Union Local 14. He loved the Bears, Cubs, fishing, motorcycles, and making his friends and family laugh. Byron is survived by his wife of 32 years, Dawn, his mother Forrestene, his children Alyssa (Jimmy Bedient) Pscherer and Keith Bohner, his siblings Gail (Bruce) Jewell, Patty (Glenn) Harrison, and Diane Pscherer, many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his dad and his brother Chuckie. Theodora H. Martinson

Theodora H. Martinson, a resident of Round Lake, passed away Saturday July 13, 2013 at the age of 78. She was born April 27, 1935 in Chicago, IL to Theodore and Harriet Polk. She was a member of St. Gilberts Catholic Church. Theodora is survived by her children David (Sue) Martinson, Karen (John) Kroll, Paul Martinson, and Michael (Grace) Martinson, her grandchildren Christine (Mike) Zeifert, Brittany Martinson, and Abbey and Ted Kroll, her great-grandchild Brooklyn Rose Zeifert, and her sister Barbara Gruca. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Norman Martinson. Conrad Yach

Conrad Yach, a 65-year-old Wildwood resident, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Sun. June 30, 2013. He was born in Steven’s Point, WI on June 15, 1948 to the now late Steve and Luella {nee Kropidlowski} Yach. Conrad graduated from Warren Township High School in Gurnee, and worked for Serfilco for nearly 30 years. He enjoyed cooking and fishing, yard work and home improvement, but he especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Conrad was the loving father of Scott (Cindy) Yach of Winthrop Harbor, and Michelle (Steve) Rubino of Lighthouse Point, FL, Kaycee (Nick) Hamilton of Lake Villa, and Jennifer (fiancée Shawn Swinden) of Wildwood; the doting grandfather of eight; the dear brother of Darlene (Ron) Riesbeck of Lake Villa; the fond uncle of Robert Riesbeck; and good friend of Sharron {nee Alcock} Yach of Wildwood.
