Obituary's Biography:

Dale E. Worden, a resident of Antioch, passed away Saturday July 20, 2013 at the age of 81. He was born November 27, 1932 in Racine, WI to Claude and Ruth (nee: Corder) Worden. Dale was a Marine Corp veteran having served during the Korean War. After the war Dale became interested in cooking and had retired after having worked as a chef for over 50 years. He was also a local businessman owning several restaurants: Dale & Val’s Ahoy Mates Bar and Restaurant, the Sequoit Harbor Restaurant, and a campground with a restaurant, all on the Chain of Lakes in the Antioch area, and continued later as the chef at Neutrauter’s Restaurant. Dale is survived by his brother Marion (Bud), daughters Debbie (Tom) Margetich of Chicago Heights, Darla Martin of Seattle, WA, and Denise (Ken) Flora of Peoria, IL, his sons Butch (Cheryl) Worden of Canton, MO, David Worden of Pekin, IL and. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Lester, Merle, and David. Interment is private. All funeral arrangements were entrusted to STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E.
