Obituary's Biography:

Sandra J. Dungan (nee Alesi), age 98, a resident of Grayslake, passed away on January 31, 2022 at her home. She was born on July 4, 1923 in Chicago to Thomas and Maude Alesi. Sandra was a member of the Grayslake Historical Society and St. Gilbert Catholic Church.

Sandra is survived by her children, Alan “Skip” (Lynda) Dungan of New Lisbon, WI and Sandi (John Zehrung) Fish of Grayslake; her grandchildren, Erik (Vera) Fish of Oak Grove, MO and Timothy (Melissa) Fish of Grayslake; and numerous great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Tommy Jo Dungan; her daughter Melody Bruckert, and her brothers, Joseph Alesi, William Alesi, and Thomas Alesi.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Gilbert Catholic Church, 301 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 12:00pm. Interment will be held at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Libertyville. A visitation will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E.
