Obituary's Biography:
Florence H. Dulak, 81, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2018 in Lake Forest, IL. She was born May 21, 1937 in Chicago, IL to Thaddeus and Florence Larkowski. Florence worked as an eighth-grade science teacher for Aptakasic Junior High in Buffalo Grove, IL. She enjoyed being a member of book clubs all of her life, loved the arts, and enjoyed traveling. Florence was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Gurnee. She always kept in touch with her college and high school friends and was very proud of her Larkowski heritage. Florence is survived by her children Charlotte (Craig) Nielsen and Michele Beye, her grandchildren Eric (Abbie) Nielsen, Michael Nielsen, Maggie Thiam, Fallou Thiam, and Issa Beye, her sister Vivian (Al) Kozak, and her numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Stanley, and her son Steven. A visitation is scheduled for Monday, July 30, 2018 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. The funeral mass is scheduled for Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Paul the Apostle 6401 Gages Lake Rd. Gurnee, IL 60031. Interment will be held privately.
