Anita Boothe of Grayslake, 73, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 with family surrounding her. She was a loving mother and wife. Her strength gave everyone who knew her a benchmark that none of us could ever match. Traveling around in their RV, especially to the Gulf Shores of Alabama, was her delight, and she spent the last 17 years doing so with her loving husband by her side. She was the chef for all because her love could be seen in every dish. She is survived by her husband, Crozier Joe Boothe, of 22 years. She is also survived by her children; Richard G. (Julie) Hazlewood, Scott M. (Jennifer) Biggs, Stephen (Lou) Biggs, M. Elayne (Harvey) Eichelberger, Jerry (Kim) Boothe, Leslye (Mike) Haney, and Lou (Steve) Boothe. She also was the proud grandparent to 17 and proud great grandparent to 14. Visitation will be Friday, February 7, 2014 from 4-8pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, Illinois. Funeral will be on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 10:30am at Strang Funeral Chapel.
