Patricia A. Lawrence

Obituary's Biography:

Patricia Ann Lawrence, 90, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away April 28, 2025, at her home.  She was born February 21, 1935, in Grayslake, IL to Ann and Roman Walz.

Pat married Evan ‘Bud’ Lawrence (Bernice & Evan Lawrence of Grayslake) after being introduced to her by his brother-in-law Norm.  Evan is one of seven children.  

Pat worked for and retired from the College of Lake County.   She was a member of St. Gilbert Catholic Church.  She enjoyed quilting and crafting.  Pat and Bud frequented many a State and National Park over the years.  And they thoroughly enjoyed going to Arizona and spending time in Apache Junction. Pat also enjoyed planning family picnics which were enjoyed by all. 

Pat is survived by her husband of 68 years, Evan “Bud” Lawrence, whom she wed on February 2, 1957, at St. Gilberts Church, her children Pam (Tom) Spychala, Teri McKnight, and Karin (Mike) Johnson, her 7 grandchildren, and her 10 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her sons David Evan Lawrence and Michael Evan Lawrence, her granddaughter McKenna Johnson and her siblings Walter (Marilyn) Walz of Lake Villa and Mary Lee (Gene) Ryan of Prior Lake, MI.
