Obituary's Biography:

Thomas Lee, 75, a resident Grayslake, IL, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. He was born May 29, 1943 in Chicago, IL to Howard and Dorothy (nee: Neveu) Lee. Thomas was an avid golfer, making his own custom clubs, and loved teaching golf at his driving range that he owned. He enjoyed being the first football coach with the Grayslake Colts Pee Wee Football. Tom was an incredible entrepreneur, builder and renovator, loving to work with his hands. Tom is survived by his wife of 52 years, Annette, whom he wed on December 27, 1966 in Round Lake, IL, his children Jamie (Richard) LaPorta of Chicago and Shawn Lee of Lindenhurst, his grandchildren Ruby, Owen, Ryan, Conner, Camryn, Jadyn, and Trae, and his siblings Lora (Jim) Bush of Lake Forest and Bonnie (Terry) Mahoney of Round Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Jason, and his brother Ron. A visitation and funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, February 3, 2019 from 11:00am until 1:00pm with the funeral service commencing at 1:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. Interment will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to the Lyme Support Network at PO Box 435, Ingleside, IL 60041.
