Obituary's Biography:
Loren Fandrei, 73, a resident of Grayslake, passed away Friday August 14, 2015 at his home. He was born October 11, 1941 in Sturgeon Bay, WI to George and Emma Fandrei. Loren was a graduate of University of Wisconsin Madison in landscape architecture. He owned and operated Creative Landscapes in Grayslake. Loren is survived by his wife of 45 years, Helen, his daughters Deborah Fandrei and Andrea (Jonathan) Lin, his grandchildren Cora and Kyle Lin, and his brother Ron (Trudy) Fandrei. He was preceded in death by his parents. A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, Illinois 60030. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Research www.pancan.org. So sad to hear about Larry. We had a lot of good times and laughs over the years. Larry always had a grand plan for his next project. He was a very special and unforgettable person.
