Joe was also survived by his step-son George Richard (Julie) Hazlewood of Justin, TX and his grandchildren Jennifer Bezner of Marysville, WA, Robin (Troy) Holland of Denton, TX, George (Amy) Hazlewood Jr. of Lewisville, TX, Kristopher Hazlewood of Argyle, TX and great grandchildren Maddison Cobb, Alexus Hazlewood, Fischer Bezner, Isaac Bezner , George Hazlewood, Hudson Hazlewood, Harper Holland and Ace Hazlewood,. Grandpa Joe will surely be missed. We had the opportunity to talk to him on the phone last week twice and tried again last night but Lou told us her dad had not gone home as he thought he might last time we talked. Lou very thoughtfully called us this morning and told us the news. We loved Joe and will miss him dearly.

To the family of the “Best” uncle a person could ever hope to have.
We loved and respected your father, grandfather, and great grandfather so very much.
Through him living his life taught us that unless you take the opportunities given you, you never know what you may have missed. Also, the love he had for each one of you and his entire family was vast and endless. We will forever hold him in our hearts and minds.

With our deepest sympathy and love,
    Wade & Vicki
