Yvonne J. Richards

Yvonne Jean Richards, age 85, a resident of Libertyville, IL passed away on February 7, 2024 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.  She was born on June 13, 1938 in Nashville, TN to Charles and Ruth Mabry.

Yvonne is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Keegan) Sands, Karen (Mark) Dettloff, and Diane Johnson; her grandchildren, Jordan Knoll, Tristan Knoll, Maddox Sands, Zachary Dettloff, Ally Dettloff, Matt Johnson, and Cameron Johnson; and 2 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her grandson, Devon Johnson; her sister, Shirley Barnes; and her parents.

A funeral service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 12pm.  A visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral chapel from 11am until the time of service.  Interment will be held at Highland Memorial Park in Libertyville, IL.  For more information, please call (847)223-8122 or visit www.StrangFuneral.org.
