William F. Mcgrath

William F. McGrath, 78, a resident of Third Lake, passed away Friday, August 5, 2016, at his home.  He was born October 6, 1937 in Chicago, IL to Alphonse and Hazel McGrath.  Bill attended and graduated from St. Mel's High School in 1955.  He was the past co-owner of Durty Nelly's in Palatine and had worked for Illinois Bell/AT&T for 35 years.  Bill is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judith, his children William Jr. (Tracy), Patricia (Mark) Filippini, Stephen (Pom), and Michael, his grandchildren Meghan,     William III, Daniel, Alex, Angela, and Anna, his sister Jean Spino, and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings John, Florence, and Kathleen.  A visitation and funeral service are scheduled for Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 10:00am until 11:00am with a funeral service at 11:00am at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd.
