William (Bill) H Lyons

William (Bill) H Lyons 87 of Round Lake Beach, IL passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 6 ^th 2024 at Elevate Care in Riverwoods IL. He was born in Detroit, MI on April 20 ^th 1937.

Bill served in the US Navy and was mostly stationed in Guam. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a love for animals.  We often found him sitting in the yard watching the birds at his many bird feeders.

He is survived by his children, Eileen Sisley, Dawn (Bryan) Lamb, Yvonne (Bill) Swieton, James (Annie) Lyons, Kate Hoftender, Daniel (Peggy Fitzgerald) Lyons, Mike (Rachel) Lyons, Patrick Lyons. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and Great great-grandchildren. Sisters, Sue Cunningham, Ruth Glickert, Ginger Lyons, Penny (Dewey) Waurio, Sally Swee, Rita (Charles) Sayler.  Bill is preceded in death by his wife Theresa, daughter Mary, granddaughters Molly & Emily, grandson Robbie, brothers Danny, Greg, Herb and John.
