William E. Kugler

William E. Kugler, age 85, a resident of Grayslake passed away on May 24, 2023 at Advocate Condell Medical Center.  He was born in December 20, 1937 in Chicago to Ernest and Lucille Kugler.  Bill truly enjoyed his health and fitness, he was always exercising, doing yoga, or bowling. He loved his bachelor lifestyle, going to the movies and trying new restaurants.  For 48 years, Bill showed kindness and compassion with friends of Bill.  He had an easy comforting laugh that everyone loved.

Bill is survived by his sister, Gertrude Gary of Chicago; his sister-in-law, Jean Kugler; his nieces and nephews, Pam (Chuck) Fillingham, Penny Kugler, Marie (Woody) Blome, Michael (Susie) Kugler, Joseph (Monica) Kugler, and Wendy Zoll; and a host of great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ernest E. Kugler.

A Memorial Service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 4pm.  A visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral chapel from 3pm until the time of service.  Interment will be held privately.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Children Hospital, St. Jude's Children Hospital or a charity of your choice.  For more information, please call (847)223-8122 or visit www.StrangFuneral.org.
