William M. Beckett

William M. Beckett, age 78, a resident of Round Lake Beach passed away on September 14, 2021 at Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital.  He was born on September 22, 1942 to Mary Ellen (nee Williams) Kasin.  Bill owned and restored antique cars.  Car shows and showing his old cars were his passions.

William is survived by his wife of 30 years, Antoinette Masella-Beckett; his children, William, Sr. (Tiffany) of Lake Villa and Darren (Jennifer) of Round Lake; his grandchildren, William, Jr (Christine) of Lake Villa, Courtney (Ali) of Los Angeles, CA, Riley of Lake Villa, Morgan of Lindenhurst, Gavin of Chicago, Jackson of Round Lake, and Kylee of Antioch; and 1 great-grandchild, Robin; his siblings, Susan Masella of Citrus Heights, CA and Dominic Masella of Riverside, CA.  He was preceded in death by his spouse, Christina (nee Hefner); his son, Brett; his mother, Mary Ellen Kasin; his brothers, John, and Clarence, Jr.; and his beloved dogs, Buddy and Dude.

A memorial service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 5:00pm.  A visitation will be held at the funeral chapel on Saturday from 1:00pm until 5:00pm.  Internment will be held privately.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
