Wayne P. Aiken

Wayne P. Aiken, 92, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 in Pleasant Prairie, WI.  He was born October 28, 1928 in Harrisburg, PA to Clyde and Margaret Aiken.  Wayne was a veteran of the US Navy having served during World War II.  He was a member of St. Mary of Annunciation in Mundelein.  Wayne is survived by his sons Mark Aiken and David Aiken, his grandsons Michael (Brianna) Aiken, Joseph Aiken, and Matthew Aiken, and his great-granddaughters Haley and Lexi.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Elizabeth Aiken.  A funeral mass is scheduled for Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 22333 W. Erhart Rd. Mundelein, IL 60060.  Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery next to the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Alliance 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd.  Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158.  All funeral arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E.
