Victor F. Erdelac

Victor F. Erdelac passed away in his sleep on January 23, 2025. He was 102.5 years old, born on July 5, 1922.

A graduate of Lew Wallace High School, Vic spent the majority of his life living in Gary, Indiana and then Valparaiso.

Vic was a WWII Veteran.  He was also an artist, a poet, a craftsman, a reader and an all around wise and kind man.

Vic lost his wife, Dianne Erdelac, unexpectedly just 12 days before he passed in his sleep.  His heart was broken.

Dianne and Vic's ashes will be combined and laid to rest at Fort Sheridan in the spring.  All funeral arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030.  For more information log onto www.strangfuneral.org or contact (847)223-8122.
