Vickie L. Raw

Vickie L. Raw, 69, of Round Lake, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021.  She was born on May 18, 1952 in McHenry to George and Beverly (nee Brusso) Brefeld.  Vickie loved fishing, traveling and spending time with her family.  She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert Raw; her son, Matthew Raw; her sister, Lorel Basile; and her brothers, Scott Brefeld and George Brefeld, Jr.  She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Beverly Brefeld.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 10:00am at the Funeral Chapel.  Interment will take place at East Fox Lake Cemetery in Lake Villa.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Save A Pet- Lake County.  For more information, please call (847)223-8122 or visit www.StrangFuneral.org .
