Theresa Kopecky

Theresa Kopecky née Guido, 90, of Grayslake, IL passed away peacefully at home on January 19, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of the late Erwin for 62 years. Theresa was born on May 24, 1931 in Chicago, IL to Carmine & Angelina (née Iantorni) Guido. Loving mother of Vincent (Sharon), Carmine (Teresa), Erwin (Connie), Anna Marie (Anthony), & the late Eugene. Proud grandmother of 16 & great grandmother of 27. A Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 22333 W Erhart Road, Mundelein, IL 60060 on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 11am.  A visitation will be held at church on Friday at 10am until the time of Mass.  Interment will be held at St. Mary of the Annunciation Cemetery immediately following Mass.  In lieu of flowers family requests donations to The American Cancer Society in memory of Eugene Kopecky.  All funeral arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.  For more information, please call (847)223-8122 or visit www.StrangFuneral.org.
