Theodore William Faurbo

Theodore William Faurbo, age 81, a resident of Ontonagon, MI, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.  He was born on October 8, 1940 in Waukegan to Viggo H. and Helen (Kekke) Faurbo.  He was a member of the 458 ^th Sea Tigers and the Ontonagon, MI Republican Party.  He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Deborah, who he married on June 11,1960 in Round Lake; his children, Derek Shawn (Kim) Faurbo of Volo, Todd Alan and (Margaret Kosin) Faurbo of Machesney Park; and one grandson, Hunter Christian Faurbo of Oak Park.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Harold and Edward Faurbo.  A memorial funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 11:00am at Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church, 285 East Washington Street in Grayslake, IL 60030.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at 10:00am at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to 458 ^th Sea Tigers: www.458thSeaTigers.org or to Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church, 285 East Washington St, Grayslake, IL 60030.  Arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.
