Steven E. Phillips

Steven E. Phillips: 59 of Antioch, IL. passed away at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. January 17th, 2022. Steven was born Oct. 2, 1962 in Chicago, IL. the son of the late Kenneth and Catherine Phillips. Steven Retired from the Illinois Tollway and was also a Retired member of the Lake Villa Volunteer Fire Department. He always had a love of his community and helping others. In Steven's finer days, he had a love for traveling and spending time in the ocean scuba diving. He spent time as a PADI Scuba Instructor as well.  Survivors include Steven's only son Cameron Phillips of Fox Lake, IL; brothers Gregory (MaryBeth) Phillips of Lake Villa, IL, Brian (Joyce) Phillips of Belidere, IL; sister Laura (James) Tiernan of Lake Villa, IL; Nephews and nieces Michael, Lena, Brandon, Christopher, Ashley and Morgan; and his great nephews and great nieces Tyler, Ellyana, Nathaniel and Lydea.   A memorial visitation and service will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 10:00am until 11:30am with the service commencing at 11:30am at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd.
