Starlett Elaine Kurek

Starlett Elaine Kurek, a resident of Lexington, SC, passed away September 4, 2013, at her home surrounded by her husband and 3 daughters, at the age of 63. She was born May 23, 1950 in Chicago, IL to Carl Edward Pence and Mary Louise (nee: Reed) Pence. Starlett enjoyed playing bingo, music, Christmas and spoiling her grandkids. Starlett is survived by her husband of 42 years, Paul Micheal Kurek, whom she wed on November 21, 1970 in Chicago, IL, her children Kimberly L.(Shane) Ingram of Geneva, IL, Candice C. (Edward) Wilson of Warner Robins, GA, Paula (Dennis) Thul of Lake Villa, IL, her grandchildren Nautyca Lynne Thul, Jaidyn Leigh Thul, Hannah Jane Wilson, Emily Christine Wilson, and Kerry Andrew Wilson, her siblings Robert E. (Sandra) Pence of Gurnee, IL, Theodore E. (Patricia) Pence of Chicago, IL, Micheal D. (Evelyn) Pence of Niles, IL, Sandra R. (Hubert) Baumgardner of Wheeling, IL, and Larry A. (Lynn) Pence of Bloomingdale, IL. She was preceded in death by her brother Donald L. (Charlene) Pence of Midlothian, IL and her parents. A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday October 6, 2013 from 11:30am until 12:30pm at Oakridge Glen Oaks Cemetery 4301 W. Roosevelt Rd. Hillside, IL 60162. Please meet in the parking lot and follow to the gravesites of Carl and Mary Pence for the service.
