Sherri Lynn Carlson

Sherri Lynn Carlson, age 69, of Round Lake Park, Illinois, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, at Village of Victory Lakes in Lindenhurst. She was born on June 21, 1956, in Vincennes, Indiana, to John and Janice McKinney.

She had a true gift for cooking and baking, and she especially loved celebrating the holidays—Halloween being her favorite. She was a proud Green Bay Packers fan. What she cherished most, though, were family gatherings and the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also shared a treasured friendship with her best friend, Mary Mathews.

Sherri is survived by her children, Danielle (Chad) McKinney of Round Lake Park, and Ryan (Jessica) Lowrey of Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Brandie Rogers of Illinois, and Devan McKinney of Illinois; her great grandchildren, Rylan Molsen, Adalyn Matos, and Emery Matos; and her siblings, Tracy McKinney of Minnesota and Richard McKinney of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.
