Samantha J. Stockero

Samantha Joy Stockero, age 34, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020.  She was born on January 10, 1986 to Anthony and Donna Stockero in Barrington.

She is survived by her children, Chad Greenenwald, Parker and Prestyn Salem; her mother, Donna of Fox Lake; her siblings, Angela Pappas of Kingsport, TN, Nicole (Bill Devine) Hunt of Fox Lake, Toni (Bobby) Barycki of Richmond, Milisa (Scott) O'Sullivan of Lake Geneva, WI, and Aidan Stockero of Fox Lake; her aunt, Cheryl Walaszek; her uncle, Skip Hjortland; her nieces and nephews, Haley Pappas, Bryce Pappas, Elizabeth Collins, Elijah Collins, Isaiah Collins, Maggie O'Sullivan, Keely O'Sullivan, Dani O'Sullivan, Austyn Hunt, Brandon Hunt, Whisper (Sissy) Hunt, Anthony Barycki, and Riley Barycki; and her dear friend, Gail Gibson.  She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Stockero; her uncles, Don Greene and Deano Stockero; her aunt, Marsha Greene; her son Chad's father, Justin Greenenwald; and brother-in-law, Ron Hunt.

A visitation and funeral service are scheduled for Monday, September 28, 2020 from 6:00pm until 7:00pm with the funeral service commencing at 7:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030, during this time we will be adhering to all COVID-19 guidelines including wearing of face masks and a maximum of 50 people in the funeral chapel.
