Sam Sances

Sam Sances, 82, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away November 11, 2021 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.  He was born December 4,1938 in Chicago, IL to Louis and Mary Sances.

Sam  is survived by his wife of 35 years Madelon (nee Sandler), his children Marianne (Jim) Spangola, Joseph (Liz) Sances, James (Fiance Debbie Burmeister), Michele (Mike) DeLiberto, Michael (Judy) Sances, and Christina (Tommy) Woodworth, his siblings Carmella Parat, Tonina (Tom) Balicki,  his 19 Grandchildren, and 19 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brother Frank Sances, and Brother-in-Law John Parat.

Sam will always be remembered for his avid love for all his favorite Chicago sports teams, Cubs, Blackhawks, and Bears. He will deeply be missed by many loving relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 11:30am.  A visitation will be held on Sunday November 21,2021 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral chapel and Monday, November 22, 2021 from 10:30am until 11:30am at the funeral chapel.
