In loving memory of Salvador Nieto, a resident of Round Lake Park, who passed on September 30th of 2026 at the young age of 50. Salvador was born on November 1, 1975 in Huandacareo Michoacán, Mexico to loving parents Salvador Nieto Yepez and Maria Yanez Sanchez.
Salvador was a beloved husband, grandfather, brother, whose life was defined by the love and camaraderie he shared with his family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to know him. He will be remembered for his charismatic personality, his love for action movies, his passion for soccer, his fondness of traveling and his Michoacán pride. Salvador will be remembered for his joyful presence and the laughs he shared with those around him. Though his passing was unexpected, the love and memories he leaves behind will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Araceli Nieto-Chavez, his children, Viviana Nieto-Chavez, Edgar Nieto-Chavez, Salvador Nieto-Chavez Jr., and Eric Nieto-Chavez.
The family invites you to Salvador’s visitiation to be held at the Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Tuesday from 3pm-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Maria del Popolo Catholic Church, 116 N Lake Street, Mundelein, IL on Wednesday at 10:00am.
