Sabrina Jean LaVerne Beese

Sabrina Jean LaVerne Beese, 44, of Grayslake, Illinois, passed away peacefully at her home on August 23, 2026. She was born on November 6, 1981, in Waukegan, Illinois, to William and Betsy Beese.

Sabrina grew up on her family’s farm in Richmond, Illinois, alongside her four siblings. She graduated from Richmond High School in 2000 and soon began her career in banking. Over the course of more than 20 years, Sabrina dedicated herself to her work, earning the respect of those around her and advancing to the position of branch manager.

Those who knew Sabrina will remember her as a radiant light in the lives of so many. Her contagious smile could brighten any room, but it was her strength, faith, prayers, and unwavering love that left the deepest impression. Her family will especially cherish memories of her cooking and the love she gave so freely to everyone she encountered.

Sabrina found joy in the simple beauty of life. She spent evenings watching sunsets, tending to her garden, and raising chickens. She enjoyed countless hours sewing, dancing to music, going to the movies, and spending time with her beloved dog, Frankie.

Above all else, Sabrina’s greatest joy and deepest love were her children. She worked tirelessly to provide for her boys and give them every opportunity she could. Material possessions held little importance to her. What mattered most was her children. Anyone who knew Sabrina knew just how completely and unconditionally she loved her boys. They were the center of her world, and she poured her heart into them every day.

Sabrina is survived by her children, Jacob of Pennsylvania, Alexander of Grayslake, and Samuel of Grayslake; and her siblings, Melissa (Art) Bentz of Johnsburg, Sonya (Curt) Wadlington of Crystal Lake, William Beese of Florida, and Louis (Brisa) Beese of Alabama.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030. A Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sabrina’s children.

Sabrina’s life was defined by her strength, her faith, her generosity, and, most of all, her love for her family. Though she is deeply missed, the light she brought into the lives of those who knew her will continue to shine through her children, her family, and the many lives she touched.
