Ruth M. Mccandless

Ruth Marion McCandless (nee: Rosener), 91, a resident of Antioch, IL, passed away Sunday October 28, 2018 at Libertyville Manor in Libertyville, IL.  She was born on January 12, 1927 in St. Louis, MO.  She moved to Libertyville in 1968 and worked as the secretary to the principal at Highland Middle School in Libertyville for many years.  Ruth is survived by her children Susan (Bernie) Parry of Commerce Township, MI and Barry (Betsy) McCandless of Libertyville, IL, her grandchildren Colleen Lill (nee: McCandless) and Scott (Katie) McCandless, her great grandchildren Eleanor, Rohan, and Mackenzie.  Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Clair McCandless, her sister Gladys (Will) Feldmeier, and her parents Emil and Hilda Rosener (nee: Hendersmann).  All funeral arrangements were held privately and entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E.
