Ruth A. Mackowiak

Ruth A. Mackowiak, 85, a resident of Grayslake, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018, at her home. She was born on December 17, 1932 in Chicago. She was a long time employee of Walmart in Round Lake Beach. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Beverly Young; daughter-in-law, Jeannie; her grandchildren, Dena (Wally) Stanula, Rebecca Albert, Daniel (Cheri) Young and Keni Marie (Steve) Yates; and her 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond and her son, Ken. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm with a funeral service commencing at 8:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd.
