Roxie L. Bueschel

Roxie L. Bueschel, 84, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away November 23, 2025 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. She was born July 6, 1941 in Maud, KY to John F. and Roberta C. (nee: McIntire) Barber.

Roxie is survived by her children Andrea Bowles, Timothy (Pattie) Bueschel, and Vanessa (John) Whitten, son-in-law, Neil Warner, her grandchildren Austin Bowles, Samuel Bowles, John Warner, Benjamin Warner, Harrison Warner, and Hayden Whitten, her siblings Olivia (Johnnie) Medley, Larry (Mary Lloyd) Barber, Flo Barber, Tony (Jodi) Barber, and Ricky (Melinda) Barber. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Andrew H. Bueschel, her daughter Stephanie Warner, her twin sister Bobbi Barber and her son-in-law George Bowles.

Roxie was a woman whose gentle spirit and love for her family shaped every part of her life. She delighted in spending quality time with those she loved—whether gathered together for games, preparing meals that brought everyone to the table, or sharing the handcrafted gifts she created through her crocheting. Roxie especially enjoyed playing mahjong, and hand and foot with her friends. Her kindness, laughter, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered

A visitation and funeral mass are scheduled for Saturday, December 6, 2025 at St. Mary Catholic Church 10 N. Buffalo Grove Rd. Buffalo Grove, IL 60089 from 10:00am until 11:00am with the funeral mass commencing at 11:00am. Interment will follow at the cemetery next to the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross, the American Lung Association, or Catholic Charities.
