Roselyn D. Smith

Roselyn D. Smith, 80, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away March 29, 2023 at her home.  She was born April 1, 1942 in Chicago, IL.

Roselyn was a beautician from the age of 20.  She loved to travel the world and was a proficient painter and wood carver.  She loved to play tennis and golf.  She cherished her time with family and friends.

Roselyn is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bradley Smith, whom she wed on April 28, 1962 in Elk Grove, IL, her sons Craig Smith of Lindenhurst and Scott (Kim) Smith of Libertyville, and her granddaughters Natalie Smith and Nicole Smith both of Libertyville.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother John Spada.

A memorial visitation and service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Monday April 10, 2023 from 4pm until 7pm with the service commencing at 7pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
