Robert A. Kapustka

Robert A. Kapustka, a resident of Gurnee, Illinois and formerly Chicago, passed away Tuesday January 21,2020 at his home in Gurnee at the age of 76. He was born on September 20, 1943 in Chicago to the late August and Josephine Kapustka.  Robert worked at the Chicago Post Office for 35 years until his retirement. He traveled the world with his mother and was an avid movie collector. His other passion was watching his beloved Chicago Cubs play baseball.  He is survived by his nieces and nephew, Cynthia (Craig) Vander Molen, Catherine (John LaBelle) Marcell, and William Marcell, his grand nephews Brian C. Scott, Daniel (Tara) Scott, Nicholas Scott, and great grand niece Adalynn Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Josephine Kapustka, and his sister Patricia Marcell.  A memorial visitation and service is scheduled for Saturday January 25, 2020 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm with the memorial service commencing at 3:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E.
